Another Reader in the Romans Family

The first real book he read by him self.

Maddox is living in a whole new world. In the past couple weeks, he has really started reading. Not just bob books or easy readers.  He takes a turn reading the scriptures and just finished his first real book. This book (pictured) was about 30 pages long. He would read a few pages everyday, until he got close to he end, then he just had to finish it. Its been so fun to see how much reading has opened up his world.  its like he's just realizing that cereal boxes, and buildings, and books, and tv and milk cartons say actual words.  Today he was looking at Reagan's book and was so excited to tell her she could go to rickriordon.com for more information. Also today he gave a talk in primary. He read the whole thing by himself (I wish he had it memorized, but I kinda forgot about it and wrote the talk 20 minutes before we left for church)! I hope this love of reading conitunues like it has for his sisters. We're proud of you Maddox!
