Two Teeth in a Week

Maddox lost his first and second tooth this week! They have been loose  FOR EV- ER.  He was so afraid to pull them out, so instead he let them dangle.  Last week Jordan finally gave one a little tap and it fell out. Maddox didn't even know until he saw it on the counter.  Today the second one came out.  this time he gathered up all his courage and pulled it out himself.  He was so proud.

So now the tooth fairy has to come.  Last year Ellie decided she wanted to ask the tooth fairy some questions. Along with her tooth, she left the tooth fairy a questionnaire.  The tooth fairy wrote back his whole life story and told her what he does with the teeth and how many kids he visits.  Then Reagan followed suit.  Her tooth fairy was a girl and had a totally different story and did totally different things with the teeth she collected. Now when the tooth fairy visits is a bigger deal than I would like it to be. The kids always have a question and would be so disappointed if they weren't answered.  I bet its hard for the tooth fairies to keep their stories straight.

Ellie told all her friends at school about her tooth fairy Donovan P. Argyle and Reagan told her friends about Crystal Somebody (I can't remember).  Ellie couldn't believe that some of her friends thought their parents were the tooth fairy.  she is so trusting (until about a month ago that is- when in the doctors office she asked me about it and was genuinely shocked at my answer)

Anyway- good job Maddox at being brave and pulling out your own tooth.  I can't wait to see what your  tooth fairy has to say tonight.
