October 29th was our stake day of service. Jordan ended up kinda being incharge of our ward. it didn't start that way, but when the person incharge got side tracked with something else, Jordan stepped up and organized the whole thing. Our ward painted two houses for some people in run down part of mesa. They also planted some flowers, fixed and painted a fence, put cute address numbers on the houses, fixed the roof, hauled away a literal ton of garbage, and gave some of the neighbors some treats. We also collected food, and winter coats for some other needy people. It was amazing the difference in the before and after of the houses. Every year Jordan and and I say we need to get our kids involved in more service. This day of service increased out resolve to serve more.
